Alexandra Darby works as the Lead for AI and Digital Rights for FEMYSO, a leading pan-European Muslim youth civil society organisation. During her work she has organised events with MEPs and other civil society organisations on the issue of digital rights.
This lecture will explore:
- How AI can create an orientalised Muslim identity.
- Opportunities and challenges in current AI policy structures.
- What is civil society doing to combat discriminatory AI.
