Shadow a volunteer leader on the ITU Help Line!

The ITU Help Line provides tenants rights and organizing advice to Ithaca-area tenants. It is staffed entirely by volunteers and we are seeking to train a new cohort. Try out a shift shadowing to learn about the process and help empower your neighbors!

Upon RSVP, we'll contact you to confirm and let you know the address. You can expect an hour–90 mins in a pair or small group, taking a look at emails and voicemails, and responding to tenant concerns. We'll show you how we review tenant law (in an approachable way) and how we frame information to help tenants enforce our rights.
