It's time to end the era of fossil fuels! Portland is joining organizations and activists across Turtle Island to mobilize against local and national fossil fuel development. Join 350PDX, Mosquito Fleet, Breach Collective, and other local groups on June 11th to rally against Zenith and the CEI Hub and call out Biden for breaking his climate policies.   • 11:30 am - Beginner’s Kayak Training, art build, speeches, food!

  • 1:00pm - Hit the water!

FAQs:

What should I bring?

Water, sun protection, picnic blanket, a boat or other watercraft if you have one!

Can I bring a paddleboard?

Yes! All watercraft are welcome. If you have one, or access to one, please bring it!

Can I reserve a kayak?

We will have a limited number of kayaks to share on a first come, first serve basis.

Can I reserve a spot on the party boat?

Party boat spots are reserved for folks with access news not met by kayaks. Sign up for a spot when you check into the event!

Will there be food?

Yes! Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Please RSVP so we can get enough!

What if I don’t want to get on the water?

No worries! There will be plenty of ways to engage on the land as well.

Can I bring my kids? My dog?

Please do! This is a family friend event in a public park.

Can I come if I can't stay the whole time?

Please join us for however long you can!

Where can I park?

Parking lot space and street parking is available but limited. Please carpool if you can. If you’re bringing a boat, we’ll have a drop off location (see map below). Nearby bus stops: 16, 4, 44, 75.
