Home care recipients and home care workers are in danger because Governor Hochul plans to centralize management of a major Medicaid home care program - the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) -to a for profit corporation called PPL in a very short time period. This plan will affect 280k consumers and 425k workers. Tens of thousands of people will lose their home care and jobs in the home care sector, furthering the home care crisis!
