CALLING ALL Peace loving JEDIS, Anime & Manga SUPERHEROES to JOIN THE RESISTANCE and the Make Polluters Pay Contingent as we march to the Capitol on No Kings3 Day!

Join our Joyful, Costumed & Nonviolent March with our ThirdAct Drum Corps in support of Democracy, against Oily Billionaires & The Oiligarchy!!! Make Polluters pay!!! Why? because they paid millions of dollars to bring in the current administration and are calling the shots on our domestic and international energy and environmental policies.

Dress: Princess Leias, OB-Wans, Superheroes/ Anime and Manga Characters- We also need a few folks to be the billionaires in business suits being escorted by a policeman to justice.

-When: Gather at 10:30am at K and 28th streets at the corner of Sutter’s Fort historic park. We will march with Indivisible groups along J street , perform the skit at the 20th street farmers market and head on to the Capitol where No Kings 3 begins at Noon. We will chant, drum, talk to folks and pass out flyers to educate folks about the Make Polluters pay Climate Superfund movement and perform a funny and simple street theater at multiple sites at the Capitol to highlight the need to hold slimy oil Companies and their billionaire CEO’s accountable by paying their fair share into a Fund which will help pay for climate disasters, energy transition and community resilience needs including public banks!

Pizza party at 12:45 near small music stage( Near 10th and L, hosted by ThirdAct Sacramento!

We will provide some make polluters pay shirts courtesy of Fossil Free media and Oil and Gas Action Network and ThirdAct.org, but if you’d like help in making your Jedi costumes contact Goli at sacramento@thirdact.org

Our art build is March 22nd 1-5 pm for costumes. Email Goli to get the address. Bring a white sheet to make your Princess Lea costume with us or a brown or tan sheet for a OB-wan Robe!
