Atlanta's Dept. of City Planning has released a draft for Atlanta's comprehensive development plan and it's not looking good.
Except for a handful of scattered sites, hardly any part of Atlanta is
being changed to allow more homes. Atlanta appears to be planning for
continued housing segregation and displacement.
We need people to show up and speak out for more housing! The Dept. of City Planning is
hosting a series of community workshops from now until June 18th across
the city. Each
of them is open to all residents. Make a plan to attend and RSVP for a workshop that works for you
here.
If you RSVP the June 13th workshop in Midtown, we'll be meeting up for drinks after at Hudson Grille to debrief and discuss.
