On February 24, 2025, Generation Common Good is mobilizing everyday people across the country to take a stand for education, democracy, and the planet. This is your opportunity to join thousands of others who share your commitment to a more just and equitable future.

Together, we’ll make our voices heard, demonstrate the power of solidarity, and take action to defend the values that matter most.

What is the National Day of Action?

The National Day of Action is a coordinated effort to resist systems of oppression and reimagine our future through collective action. It’s a day for online and offline organizing, bringing together communities to show that we’re ready to block, broaden, and build.

You can participate in a variety of ways that align with your skills, interests, and availability:

1. Online Advocacy: Amplify the movement from wherever you are.

   • Join our social media storm by sharing graphics, stories, and key messages using our campaign hashtag.
   • Participate in a virtual letter-writing campaign to elected officials, calling for action on critical issues like education equity and climate justice.
   • Host or attend a virtual teach-in about the challenges we face and how we can address them together.

2. In-Person Actions: Build community and visibility on the ground.

   • Organize or attend a local gathering in your area, such as a rally, community forum, or teach-in.
   • Participate in a local canvassing or flyer distribution effort to spread the word about Generation Common Good.
   • Host a small action in your neighborhood, like a banner drop or sign-waving event, to show solidarity.

3. Hybrid Events: Connect the digital and physical.

   • Attend a hybrid town hall with Generation Common Good leaders and community organizers to hear updates, ask questions, and share your ideas.
   • Invite your friends and family to a watch party for a livestreamed event featuring inspiring speakers and organizers.

2. Spread the Word

3. Prepare for Action
   Once you sign up, you’ll receive a comprehensive Action Toolkit with everything you need to participate, including:

   • Social media graphics and sample posts.
   • Messaging templates for reaching out to elected officials.
   • Guidance on hosting local events or joining existing ones.
