On Friday, November 7th,  Meaningful Movies West Seattle will be showing the Emmy-nominated feature documentary 'Join or Die.' The film follows the half-century story of America’s civic unraveling through the journey of legendary social scientist Robert Putnam, whose groundbreaking “Bowling Alone” research into America’s decades-long decline in community connections could hold the answers to our democracy’s present crisis. His answer--Join a club!  

Saturday, November 8th, Meaningful Movies West Seattle, The West Seattle Time Bank and over 40 clubs and organizations will be coming together for a Joiner Jam, to help residents and clubs/organizations find their best match. The event will include entertainment by participating clubs, raffle prizes and light refreshments. We'll even have space for imagining the clubs we'd like to see!
