Join Honesty for Mahoning Valley Education for an informational public forum featuring a panel of speakers who will share information and answer questions about current and potential anti-public school, anti-LGBTQ+, and extremist policies and legislation which threaten to harm and disrupt the safety and education of Mahoning Valley students.

Speakers from Honesty for Ohio Education, Glisten, Trans Allies of Ohio, and more will be present to explain the real impacts of recently enacted laws like HB 8 which forces educators to out transgender students to their families and requires all Ohio schools to allow students access to extremist religious instruction during the public school day.

Attendees will learn about how they can stay informed as other new and harmful laws are aimed at our schools and how they can help support local efforts underway to protect our students and our schools.
