Housing Summer is in full swing at every level of government, so let's talk about it.
We'll discuss the the state-level propositions that will be on the November ballot across California, as well as what's happening locally in San Francisco.
As endorsement season approaches, we also have three exciting guest presentations at this meeting: Supervisor Bilal Mahmood will give a talk about his ballot measure to reform transfer taxes on foreclosures; Friends of Sunset Dunes will give us an update on what might happen to our newest park; and the Our City Our Bank campaign will give a talk about their ballot measure to create a public bank for the city. Feel free to bring any questions you have for them.
No matter where you are on your housing activism journey, come for the latest updates and ways you can get involved! Feel free to bring a YIMBY-curious friend!
Programming starts around 6:30, with some light mingling before. After the meeting ends, we'll decamp to a nearby bar for an optional after-event social.
