Juneteenth Mutual Aid Pop Up: Freedom Rooted in Community Care

Join Global Solidarity Network Seattle (GSNS) and Seattle Green Earth Cleaning (SGEC) on Friday, June 19th frfro2pm-6pm at 7838 Lake City Way NE for a celebration of liberation rooted in mutual aid and community.

Juneteenth marks the day enslaved people in Galveston learned they were free. We honor that legacy by practicing freedom together right now, in our neighborhood, through direct mutual aid. Because liberation isn't just history—it's what we build when we show up for each other.

What to expect: Come hungry, come as you are. We'll have warm meals (beans and rice, chili, coffee), clothing, hygiene items, and community. This is a space to connect, resource, and care for one another without conditions.
