Marking Jared “Jay” Lowndes's birthday and to raise awareness about the upcoming inquest into his killing by the RCMP, join the ongoing Justice for Jared campaign for the film premiere of "Look What They've Done" and a community gathering.

Jared Lowdnes, a proud member of the Lakislyu Clan of the Wet'suwet'en Nation, was fatally shot by RCMP more than five years ago. As the BC Coroner's Service prepares for an inquest in the coming months, we invite you to watch a new documentary "Look What They've Done" about the struggle for justice and to come hear from Jared's mother, Laura Holland.

Come get involved in the struggle for justice for Jared, and join this Wet'suwet'en family who have refused to back down in their fight against a system that has been killing Indigenous children since contact. In the face of murderous and genocidal policing, our communities must respond with care for impacted families and demand real accountability and an end to colonial police violence.

The event is organized in coordination with Weaving our Worlds.
