Join us for a virtual weekly lunch and learn where we will cover the following topics:

• June 9th: Meeting with your Legislator - Learn how to meet with your legislator and have productive conversations about how the legislative session went and what you hope they do moving forward

• June 16th: Media Engagement - Learn how to engage with the media to bring to light issues you care about and bring pressure on our legislators to take action! We will be covering things like letters to the editor, op-eds, and social  media.

• June 23rd: Power Mapping your Network - Community power is all about relationships. Map the relationships your legislator has, compare them to yours, and find where you have common ground.

• June 30th: Giving Testimony! - Learn how to write and provide oral testimony to the legislature or your local government. We will cover how to track bills on the Kansas legislature website and where to find committee information as well.

  RSVP and we will send zoom links to each event the morning of! You do not have to attend every event so RSVP if you would like to attend any or receive the recorded trainings after!
