Throughout history, working people have fought back against unfair treatment by their bosses. Workers have built unions, battled (often literally) for better wages and working conditions, and won new protections from anti-union governments. Learn about how the US Labor Movement was formed, both its victories and defeats. Let’s explore how these lessons from the past can help us win better lives for workers and our families today!

This event is part of our Union Member Education Series, which aims to build the skills and knowledge of rank and file members of unions to help them become active participants in their workplace struggles. While these events are aimed at union members, they are open to all. You may attend any or all of the events in the series.
