It's that time of year again, time to celebrate #LaborDay with your family and friends at the Milwaukee Lakefront while taking a rest on your day off at #LaborfestMKE!

This year, Laborfest Milwaukee features a Classic Car Show, Children's Activities and Entertainment, Live Music, Grapplers in a Live Ring, a Union Industries Booth and more. Food and beverages are available for purchase. (Delicious restaurant menus are shown below.) Laborfest is organized by volunteer union members and leaders, and paid for through generous donations by unions and their workplaces, such as IBEW, Steelworkers, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, and Miller-Coors and Trade Unions. It is FREE to attend and enjoy!

Before you head to the lakefront, check out the Labor Day Parade beginning at Workers Memorial in Zeider-Union Square downtown, where you can see sights like Harley riders, color guard, and Teachers from MTEA marching in solidarity with auto worker retirees from UAW, workers from the American Federation of Musicians riding with the Operating Engineers and, of course, the Teamsters' big trucks rolling in as the Nurses and Healthcare workers march and sing with the Steelworkers!

When you arrive at the festival, please remember to bring a NEW PAIR of socks for those in need as the months grow colder. Donations will be given to Milwaukee Public Schools, Waukesha and Milwaukee area shelters. We hope to see you Monday, Labor Day!

In Solidarity,

The Milwaukee Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO
