In addition to powering their home with Solar, Jane & Steve work hard to garden without chemicals and have installed a pervious driveway. They help safeguard pond health with their gardening practices and help monitor water quality in local ponds. Even if you’ve toured their property before, come and join our Green Sanctuary community to support this type of powerful change.

Built in 1976 on a half-acre lot in Centerville, this home overlooks Long Pond and enjoys abundant southern exposure—perfect for its 11.1 kW solar PV array. Since 2018, solar has generated ~75% of electricity for this all-electric home (including EV charging). With Solar Renewable Energy Credits, the home’s energy bills have been net zero.
