At 7pm on Thursday 24th March Lambeth Green Party will be holding a business meeting to confirm our candidates for target wards for the May 2022 election.

The meeting will be chaired by Florence Pollock.

If you have not already spoken to Florence about standing as a candidate in a target ward, then please get in contact with her as soon as possible on pollockflorence@gmail.com. As a reminder the target wards are St Leonard’s (Streatham), Herne Hill and Gipsy Hill.

Non-target ward candidates

It is important that all Lambeth residents are able to vote for a Green candidate in the May elections, so we are also on the look out for non-target ward candidates.

These candidates are not expected to do any campaigning, or to be elected, but their name will be on the ballot for people to vote for. We hope to have a full slate, and will also accept people who are not paid up members of the Green Party. Even if you have never delivered a leaflet or been involved before now, we’d love to have you as a paper candidate! The only criteria is that you either live or work in Lambeth and sign a form to confirming that. Your address does not have to be published on the ballot paper.
