(1) WADE INTO SCIENCE AT SMITH & MINOR ISLANDS AQUATIC RESERVE: Any time between 10 am and 1 pm discover the largest kelp forest in Washington and explore local birds with ecologists. (2) VISIT THE LANGLEY WHALE CENTER: 115 Anthes Avenue in Langley. Learn about local whales and the importance of healthy habitat for them. Check out the Action Table on ways you can help save our salmon, the primary food of our endangered Southern Resident Orca Whales. Check out a book, DVD, or game from our free Lending Library.
