I am introducing a Private Members Bill on Water to Parliament, which will have its second reading on 28th March. The bill seeks to ensure our water supply is clean, accessible, and resilient to climate change by setting new government targets.

It also aims to open a national conversation about the democratic ownership of water, proposing a Commission on Water Ownership and Citizens Assemblies to explore different ownership models and make recommendations to government.

Ahead of this, I am hosting a panel discussion in Norwich to talk about the bill and the wider issues it seeks to address.
