Through the school climate strikes movement, young people have been at the forefront of important shifts in attitudes to climate change worldwide, as well as in Australia. They can be very powerful and effective messengers on social and environmental justice, but they often aren’t asked what they think, or given a chance to influence the decisions that affect them now and into the future.

This event is an opportunity to hear from a group of passionate young Blue Mountains people share what matters to them and what they want to see change. We have asked them what is it that we adults are getting wrong? What are we getting right? And what is it that we can do better?

Featuring Jasmine Cook from the Blue Mountains Youth Council, representatives from MESCA (Macquarie Electorate Student Climate Activists) and more, followed by a facilitated Q&A.
