**ACTION ALERT**

The State La Plata South well pad proposed by Civitas Resources as part of the Lowry Ranch CAP would bring 17 wells within 2 miles of the Aurora Reservoir. It's imperative that these and all oil and gas wells in the area be held to the highest regulatory requirements, including electrically powered drilling and production equipment.

It's vital that our community makes a strong showing at this first public hearing since the approval of the Lowry Ranch Comprehensive Area Plan to set a strong precedent for continued community involvement. When we show up and speak out, we make a difference!

On 12/19/24, the first OGDP post-CAP approval at Lowry Ranch reached the application completeness phase. It is called the State La Plata South OGDP (docket #240600148). More information about this OGDP is available on our website.

The public comment period for State La Plata South OGDP (docket #240600148) is open through 2/2/24. Updated 1/18: The adjudicated OGDP hearing with the Commission has been scheduled for March 19.

ECMC welcomes public comments in the following ways: written comments from the public submitted during the 45-day public comment period, real-time comments during the adjudicated ODGP hearing, and comments at 511 Public Comment Hearings. Public comments can be made to the Oil and Gas Location Assessment Permit application via the ECMC website by selecting the permits option then finding the pending permit (Form 2A) by selecting Arapahoe County in the drop down box.
