Start: Saturday, October 07, 201710:00 AM

End: Saturday, October 07, 201712:00 PM

Join the conversation at our Los Angeles Town Hall on how we can close California's commercial property tax loophole to restore over $9 billion annually to invest in local communities.

Millionaires, billionaires and big corporations are taking advantage of an unfair commercial property tax loophole that is undermining the quality of life we deserve - great schools, health care for all, affordable homes, and other vital community services.

Join your neighbors, community leaders, and local elected officials to learn more about the #MakeItFairCA campaign to revitalize our neighborhoods by closing this commercial property tax loophole. Together we can restore over $9 billion every year to invest in schools, community colleges, healthcare, libraries, parks and other community services.

The Make It Fair Campaign will level the playing field for small businesses while continuing to guarantee Prop 13 rules remain in effect for homeowners and renters.

Speakers will include:
State Senator Holly Mitchell, 30th District
Dr. Manuel Pastor, University of Southern California, Director USC Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE) and Director USC Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration (CSII)
