We are in the final 8 days before Election day, the election will determine our future here in Arizona. Many of us don't know an Arizona where education and healthcare are prioritized. An Arizona where WE, the working class, black folk, brown folk, folk with disability, transgender folk, folks with no gender, folks who just want to love and live instead of merely survive; folks who have been forgotten by this administration.  

These next 8 days are for us, but also something bigger than us as individuals. For the first time in a long time we have people running for office who represent us. Teachers, veterans,  people who aren't your typical politicians. LUCHA has developed Freedom Fighter teams who hit the pavement with clipboards, and water bottles, knocking on doors and empowering our neighbors to fill out their ballots and send them.

We have shifts every day until the election and we are counting on YOU to take on a shift. Grab a clip board, put on some comfy shoes, and lets hit these doors! Food provided after every shift.  

It's also Spirit Week! Each day we'll dress up and have fun activities to participate in after our shifts.
Monday "Mathletes v. Athletes" - dress as a nerd or a jock
Tuesday "Let's taco 'bout is" - bring a friend and eat delicious tacos
Wednesday "Wicked Wednesday" - Halloween costume contest and pumpkin carving
Thursday "T-shirt Thursday" - receive your Final Four t-shirt!
Friday "Festival of Life Friday" - potluck, bring your favorite food and a picture of a loved one who has passed

Monday "Movement Monday" - paint banners and poster for visionary on voting day
Tuesday Election day! - volunteer to poll watch or dance in public to get people excited about going to the polls!
