Requested Action: We need volunteers to show up at the City Council public hearing on May 13th, holding signs in support of Medicare For All. We will provide signs, but you free to make your own (please keep it positive). We will meet at 9:15am and finish by 10:30am.

When: 9:15am, Saturday May 13th.

Where: Meet in City Hall, 2nd Floor (301 King St., Room 2400, Alexandria, VA 22314). Look for someone holding a star-spangled "Alexandria Needs Medicare For All" sign.

What: We will gather and strategize before attending the public hearing at 9:30am. Some of us will speak at the hearing (we have 3 speakers lined up) while the rest of us hold up signs in support of Medicare For All and generally look persuasively numerous. Public comments are at the beginning of the agenda, so we will probably speak before 10am.

Why: Because healthcare should be easier.
