Make Art, Fight Fascism! Art Build

The Abolition working group is spreading joy and socialism through art. Come screen print and color with us as we prepare more art to wheatpaste around our communities.

Where: St. Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church 1525 Newton St NW, Washington, DC 20010

When: Saturday June 13th, drop in any time from 2-6PM

Transit: Walkable from the Green & Yellow lines (Columbia Heights Station) and the D60, D50, C61, and D72 bus routesTake the metro to Columbia Heights, then walk north up 14th and make a left/go west on Newton

Arrival: Walk around to the back of the church, go to the second door

We'll be screen printing designs and coloring them in to be wheatpasted at a later date. Families with children interested in art projects and adults of all levels of artistic ability welcome!

We will also be printing shirts for Abolition's backpack drive fundraiser. If you bring a shirt or similar you can print the MDC DSA Abolition Working Group logo on it.
