In the 2022 WorldWide Teach-in on Climate and Justice there were more teach-ins in Africa than in any continent outside North America. These Teach-in were designed to create awareness about the climate crisis and to build capacity among communities in Africa to cope with its effects and advocate for just solutions. During the webinar, we will discuss how these Teach-ins are helping to increase understanding of the challenges faced and the solutions needed to address them.

Please join us on December 14 at 10 am Eastern (New York) time to hear from organizers of 2022 teach-ins in Africa: African Network of Young Leaders for Peace and Sustainable Development (ANYL4PSD), Green Growth Africa (formerly ISNAD) and Green Africa Hope. They will report on their 2022 Teach-Ins and discuss their plans for 2023. The participation of these organizations is supported by “Lever for Change, a nonprofit affiliate of the MacArthur Foundation.
