.

Who are we?
We are a multi-generational group of people who are concerned about the world we are leaving our children, grandchildren, and future generations beyond. Representing a wide region from the Permian Basin to the Gulf Coast and Louisiana, we are uniting around our various interests to confront a large oil & gas conference called, CERA Week.
We are people who want to stop burning fossil fuels in the name of short-term profits. We know that real solutions to systemic problems exist and are ready to be implemented for future generations.
What is CERAWeek?
CERA Week is considered the SUPERBOWL of oil & gas conferences. The richest oil & gas corporations, international banks, and government officials from across the world attend this conference. The focus of the event is bringing together the worst extracting industries so they can plan their future scheme.
Why do we care?
Everyday we are seeing the reality of raging wildfires, destructive hurricanes, and deadly flooding impacting poor & working class communities across our country. We are in this situation due to the negligence of our government to protect our public interest against the greedy industries that want to exploit us.
No one is coming to save us. We must stand up for ourselves and each other.
We can no longer ignore the crisis before us and the industries profiting from it. We can no longer sit and wait for someone to come and do the right thing and protect our future generations.
We believe that future generations have an undeniable right to clean air, water, food, and environment to live a basic life with dignity.
