Please join this utterly amazing talk by Olga Karatch living in exile in Lithuania. Yes, the correct date is this Sunday, March 9, at 6 PM in Stockholm and Central Europe, and 7 PM in Vilnius. The speaker is one of the founders of the peace and climate justice movement in Belarus. Since December 2005, she and her colleagues have founded the International Center for Civil Initiatives “Our House”. She has been working as a human rights defender, supporting the most vulnerable groups, such as women, children, conscientious objectors, deserters, LGBTI individuals, and refugees, for many years. Olga Karatch is currently one of the popular YouTube bloggers in Belarus. Over the past three years, her video messages to the people of Belarus on the topics of non-violent protests have been viewed by more than 40 million people, and the number of her subscribers is around 80,000.
