The Marxist Reading Group is an opportunity for socialists and socialist-curious folks of all stripes to come together and read an important socialist text while developing a historical materialist lens and informing our organizing today.

We will be kicking off our Classics module with THE classic, The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. With this text we hope to give members new to socialism a chance to view a fundamental text in the tradition’s history, and a space to digest many of the new ideas presented in the text.

For this session, we'll be reading the whole text (Preface-Section 4), which runs at about 40 pages. We'll be discussing this section on Monday, October 13th at 7 PM CT.
