The Marxist Reading Group is an opportunity for socialists and socialist-curious folks of all stripes to come together and read an important socialist text while developing a historical materialist lens and informing our organizing today.

We will be continuing our Classics module with Karl Marx’s Wage-Labour & Capital; Value, Price, and Profit. This text will serve as a condensed economic study on the nature of the economic elements and their contributions to a class society, sometimes seen as an "Capital before reading Capital" that will help us tie some of the philosophical, historical, and political outlook we’ve learned about so far with their economic implications.

For this session, we'll be reading chapters 1-7 text, which runs at about 20 pages. We'll be discussing this section on Monday, November 24th at 7 PM CT.
