Location: Belle Isle Library 5501 N Villa Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 US

Join us for the second of a five part "night" school exploring a materialist history of the United States of America. This session will cover the Gilded Age, from the 1880s to Roosevelt. We will be discussing the expansion and consolidation of industrial capitalism, and the political domination of corporate power when the U.S emerged as the largest and most technologically advanced economy in the world.

Masks are encouraged, and some masks will be made available to attendees.

We know that disabilities, lack of transportation, or distance can make it difficult to physically attend events. In an effort to make our skill share more accessible, we will be adding a virtual/hybrid option. We would love to see you in person, and if that isn't feasible, you can join us online! RSVP for the Zoom link.

The library has wheelchair accessible parking and entrances. Masks are encouraged in support of immunocompromised and vulnerable populations. We have the option to attend virtually via Zoom. If you are able, please bring a respirator (KN95 or N95 mask). We will be able to provide a limited number of masks. Email us with any questions or concerns at mutualaid@okcdsa.org.
