Join us for the May general meeting of the Housing Justice Commission! We'll start out with a presentation about the new and improved Emergency Tenant Organizing Committee which will be open to any and all members. You'll learn how to build a committee, how to find a viable project, the stages of a campaign and much more! We'll have time for Q&A afterwards so bring your comrades and bring your questions.

After going over ETOC we'll go over the Housing Justice Commission Consensus Resolution! The resolution basically does the following:

• Adopts the HJC's Four Principles of Social Housing as DSA's framework for social housing
• Gives support to our language justice project
• Sets up a campaign for members to organize their homes and their workplaces
• Continues support for the Emergency Tenant Organizing Committee

We'll spend the rest of the meeting going over these and having a discussion about the reasons we think this is the path forward for housing justice work in DSA. See you there!
