On January 23rd, nearly a million people in the Twin Cities participated in a day of “No Work, No School, No Shopping” to kick ICE out of their community. Now, unions, faith groups, community organizations, and working people around the U.S. and in Wisconsin are calling for a mass day of action on May 1st, 2026. All around the world, May 1st is celebrated as May Day– International Workers’ Day, the real Labor Day. This year, MADSA is celebrating by calling on our members and community to STRIKE OUT ICE and join the Voces de la Frontera "Day Without Immigrants" May Day March and Rally
