Join us as we celebrate International Workers Day on the riverfront in downtown Little Rock! Featuring live music by Annie Ford Band, Richard Michael Hall and Cornbread & Roses. Learn about the important history of May Day and the ongoing struggle of workers for dignity, prosperity, and freedom from exploitation. Meet organizers from across the city and find out how you can get involved in the fight for a better world! You might want to bring a camping chair or blanket.

Potluck dinner facilitated by Food Not Bombs.

The History Pavilion is located at Julius Breckling Riverfront Park close to Junction Bridge. When facing the river, the History Pavilion will be to the left of Junction Bridge.

About May Day
In 1886, the American Federation of Labor declared May 1st the day that all American workers should strike and demand an 8 hour work day. It is now recognized as International Workers Day and is a public holiday in most countries.
