Join our May meeting for an introduction to “Reclaim Our Vote,” a national nonpartisan initiative involving the NAACP, the Center for Common Ground and Black Voters Matter. The project focuses on contacting voters of color in voter-suppression states who are being purged from the voter rolls, to let them know how they can register and vote.

Andrea Miller, who spearheaded Reclaim Our Vote in in Virginia will join us via Zoom as our guest speaker. We will be launching Marin phone banks and postcard events to support this crucial program. The meetings will take place in a "house party" format and we will send you an address as it gets closer to the date.

In 2019 the focus will include Virginia (which has elections in November 2019), Florida (where 1.4 million ex-felons are eligible to register to vote due to a new initiative passed by voters), and Georgia.
