Media skills for local groups with Miriam Robinson.
A workshop to help you get your message out. The workshop will deep dive into what to include in a press release, how to stay on message, using social media, traditional media and so many other topics.
Miriam Robinson was a founding member of Extinction Rebellion in Melbourne. She is now living in Ballarat and is actively involved with organising XR Ballarat. Miriam has been involved in climate activism for many years, including with Galilee Blockade and Grey Power. Before that she was a volunteer organiser for the Greens in Fitzroy. She has extensive experience in media and messaging, social media management, communications, as well as many years organising actions and coordinating volunteers.
