Jhosseline Guardado, Legislative Aide for Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes will join us on Tuesday, January 21 at 1:00 pm PT on Zoom.

Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes was elected to the Senate in 2024, representing Senate District 29, which encompasses a large part of San Bernardino County including Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana and the city of San Bernardino. She was the Assembly member for much of the same territory beginning in 2016. Climate Action California endorsed her as a Climate Champion in the 2024 election for the Senate seat she won in November.

In the Assembly, she was the first Latina to serve as Majority Leader. In her first year in the Senate, as a seasoned legislator and attorney, President pro Tem Mike McGuire has named Gómez Reyes to a number of important committees: Environmental Quality, Housing, Public Safety, Education, Legislative Ethics, and Judiciary.

Jhosseline Guardado was a legislative aide to former state Senator Dave Min before his election to the U.S. House of Representatives in November. Ms. Guardado will share the Senator's goals for the current legislative session and will discuss our environmental and climate priorities.
