Kenyamarie Mahone, Legislative Aide for Senator Smallwood-Cuevas will join us on Monday January 13, at 11:30 am PT on Zoom.

Senator Smallwood-Cuevas was elected to the California State Senate in 2022, representing the 28th Senate District, one of the most diverse regions in the state, spanning from Mar Vista to South Central Los Angeles and Westchester to Mid-Wilshire. After serving for two decades as an educator, labor organizer, and community activist, her personal and professional goals have always been centered on making a more equitable California for working families.

Ms. Mahone is the legislative aide for Senator Smallwood-Cuevas, focusing on environmental policy issues. She will share the Senator's environmental and climate goals for the upcoming legislative session and discuss our priorities. Ms. Mahone is from the Bay Area and earned her degree in Public Policy Analysis from Pomona College.
