The new Labour government are showing no intention of treating disabled people any better than the previous governments have.  Whilst there is a lack of clarity in messaging from Labour politicians and a lot of the specific details are not yet confirmed - the priorities of reducing welfare spending in the budget, particularly at a time of increasing disability rates does not look good and we need to organise to be prepared.

Join us for Merseyside Disabled People Against Cuts’ (DPAC) public relaunch meeting to find out more including how to get involved in the fightback. We will discuss some of the history of the DWP's oppression of disabled people including under previous Labour governments with excerpts from John Pring’s book ‘The Department’. We will also have some crafts and fun activities and placard making to end on a positive and constructive note.

Speakers TBA.
