Mid Suffolk Green Party made global Green Party history in 2023 as the first-ever Green Party majority-run council in the UK and the northern hemisphere.

Since then, the political system has fractured even further and we are at a pivotal point.

The 2026 Suffolk County Council elections present the opportunity to elect the first-ever Green-led county council in the country, but it also presents a challenge as we go head-to-head with Reform to see who will take the reigns of power from the collapsed Conservative Party.

We need your help to make sure that the Green Party comes out on top and can bring even more positive change to communities across the entire county, whether that is investment in our heritage, support for our market town high streets, better public transport infrastructure, investment in community renewable energy and much, much more.

The alternative is a council of chaos with Reform, whose county councils have been marred with resignations, scandals, broken promises and more, with local services and communities taking the hit.
