On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people and adults will strike all across the US and world to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis. Millions of us will take the streets to demand a right to a future, and we’re inviting you to #strikewithus

Join Earth Uprising Midland and Midland High School Environmental Club for a picnic and demonstration from 2PM to 4PM at the duck pond.

Please invite anyone you know who might be interested! Bring the family and your friends. We really want this to be an opportunity for people in Midland to learn about the global climate crisis, understand the role Midland has, and encourage civic engagement. On the day of the strike, you can bring picnic foods such as fruits and sandwiches if you'd like. We will release a detailed schedule of the strike soon, so stay tuned!
