Join The Feminist Front on campus at Loyola Marymount University for a teach-in on the upcoming Supreme Court case on the availability of the abortion medication Mifepristone and a non-partisan textbank to get young people registered to vote on Thursday April 4th at 7pm in St. Robert's Hall Room 233.

We will discuss how the Mifepristone case Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA could ban Mifepristone from being prescribed via telemedicine and shipped through the mail to abortion seekers in need in ALL 50 states. This decision could further burned abortion providers by drastically increasing the number of people who have to go to doctors and clinics to receive medication abortion, especially since medication abortion now accounts for more than 63% of all abortions in the formal health care system.

After our teach-in we will be texting unregistered young people in Arizona, where state laws already ban prescribing abortion medicine via telehealth visits and shipping or mailing abortion pills. We know based on our experience registering and mobilizing voters in Arizona, Nevada, and Texas these last few years that helping our communities get registered, educated, and activated works!
