Join Seattle DSA, Tech 4 Housing, and MLK Labor in door-knocking for Mike Westgaard's campaign for Renton City Council! Mike is a proud union shop steward and longtime community organizer - his campaign envisions connecting the organized labor movement and the working class struggle in South King County. Mike is a champion for housing and transit for all, ending the war on drugs, and defending Raise the Wage Renton! Mike is running as a democratic socialist in a grassroots campaign against a Chamber of Commerce backed establishment incumbent - to win he will need OUR HELP!

For this special coalition canvass, we will meet at Renton City Hall for sign-ins, training, and optional participation in filming a campaign ad, then head out to talk to neighbors about Mike's campaign. After the canvass, join us for a volunteer appreciation social at The Brewers Taproom 2:30-4:00 PM.

First time canvassers are welcome. We will provide training before the canvass. We will also organize carpools, please note your carpool needs in the Action Network RSVP form. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately!
