Team Mitch is excited to bring our party to Twenty First Ave Kitchen & Bar on July 13th for several reasons:

  1. Special guests to cheer us on: Angelita Morillo (District 3 candidate), Emily Golden-Fields (Portland school teacher), Jonathan Tasini (District 2 candidate), and Nick Caleb (climate attorney);
  2. A stump speech followed by karaoke with songs dedicated to Portland;
  3. A special cocktail or mocktail at the bar mixed exclusively for friends of Team Mitch (you!);
  4. Appetizers and beverages for our earliest partygoers.

A Message from Mitch Green

My name is Mitch Green. I am an Army veteran, energy economist, community college professor, and proud union member. I'm running for Portland City Council to make sure that people living in District 4 who still believe in the Portland Idea – the idea that we can fight to build things that make our lives better – have a voice, and someone who will champion them.

My team and I have been hard at work building support for this campaign and have earned some big wins – including recent endorsements by UFCW 555 and the Portland Association of Teachers. It’s time to come together to celebrate them. I’d like to take the mic and share my vision for Portland with you, and why I’m fighting for a future we all deserve. And while I have the mic, why not sing a song or two?

I believe we all have little treasures in this city that bring us joy and remind us why we still show up for each other and our values. Karaoke at Twenty First is one of my little treasures, so I want to share that joy with you as I officially kick off my campaign for Portland City Council.

We’ll hear from a few friends, old and new, who inspire me. Friends who remind me that the last stretch of this campaign is worth the drive, because this is only a city that works when it works for everyone.

I’m in this race to win, and I believe we’ll do just that with you on my team. Let’s go.
