Event Announcement: Violence De-escalation Skills Training
Join us for a vital training session from Mobilization Peace Training (formerly Meta Peace Training), focused on creating safer environments at rallies and events. This session will equip you with essential skills to safely intervene and de-escalate potentially violent situations.
Training Topics Include:
- Active Listening
- The Importance of Body Language
- Personal Power Messages
- The Clara Technique
Benefits of Attending:
- Gain valuable de-escalation skills to ensure safety at community events
- Completing course allows volunteers to wear the Mobilization Peace Team yellow vest as a peacekeeper
- This session prepares you to be safety Marshalls for No Kings 3, March 28th, 2026
Mobilization Peace Training emphasizes nonviolent conflict resolution and community building, helping participants become proactive in maintaining peace and safety.
If you completed the Mobilization Bystander Intervention training (BIT), then you can attend half day from 9 to 1.
