We’ll be talking about what’s next in our afterschool campaign—and why this matters for families right now.

For California families, we are trying to find afterschool care and running into the same challenges:

• Programs are full or hard to find

• Costs are too high for many families

• Transportation and scheduling make it difficult to access

That leaves a lot of parents scrambling during the 3–6pm window—figuring out how to stay at work while making sure their kids are safe.

And when afterschool doesn’t work, everything else gets harder.

• Talk about what’s working and what isn’t
• Identify what we need most and next steps
