This month, we’re sharing what happened at the Capitol when we talked with our Senators about childcare last month and what’s happening to Head Start and childcare programs at the federal level—and what we can do about it.

Recently, a top federal childcare official said he wants a “bonfire” of childcare regulations as the administration pushes major deregulation efforts--and we are not going to let that happen!

On this call, we’ll:
• Break down what’s happening in plain language
• Talk about why Head Start matters for Michigan families
• Share highlights from our April 21 trip to the Capitol to speak up for childcare
• Discuss next steps we can take together to protect childcare and early learning programs
