This is a virtual event

Tory Russell, along with Yonasda Lonewolf, are reaching out to community leaders, activists, organizations, clergy and change agents to mobilize your base and work with us to take Police Brutality head on. This letter is an official invitation to you and your collective to join us in Atlanta, Ga, October 19 - 22 for a weekend of resistance, empowerment, and finding solutions to what we all know the problem this country is facing, police brutality.
We also ask that the families of such injustices join along side of the families of Mike Brown Jr., Oscar Grant, Jamarion Robinson and others to create space for love, fellowship and healing to form a bond where these families no longer feel alone in this fight.
This weekend aims not only to mobilize but to reenergize and organize our bases in ways that can not only disrupt the criminal justice system but transform it. Our vision for this weekend is to equip every family with the help they need to carry on with their fight, every organization with the tools to build up communities of resistance and to connect individuals and activist with other like minded people locally, in order to begin with the building of alternatives that will swing the pendulum of power back into the hands of the people who want equality.

What We Expect
The last time something like this occurred almost ten thousands activist and organizers came to #FergusonOctober in 2014. So we expect twice as many this time to assist with direct action trainings, set up venue space, canvass and most and importantly demonstrate in creative and innovative ways.

Thursday, October 19th

We will start with a targeted direct action to let the city know and world know that we are here to disrupt business as usual for the next few days.

Friday, October 20th

There will be a silent march lead by the families who have lost loved one at the hands of law enforcement followed by discussions with those families.

Saturday Oct 21st

This day will start with a free breakfast program called #BooksAndBreakfast. This program and many other on this day are centered around educating our people on the history of resistance and to bring the community together so that we can strategize together around what’s possible to protect ourselves from injustice.

On Sunday, October 22nd

This day will begin with a interfaith service and healing spaces so we can begin to detox from the pain of living under these conditions. Later that day we will hold a large rally/march where we expect thousands to make their voices heard.

Monday, October 23rd

This will be a day direct action with civil disobedience and major demonstrations at significant targets to disrupt.
We’re looking for:
Corporate Sponsors to invest in the solutions around Criminal Justice Reform, Mass Incarceration, the School to Prison Pipeline and Police Brutality not just on this weekend but after the mobilization.
Courageous Donors to donate to a movement that seeks to replace injustice with justice and corruptions with fairness.
Organization Partners to mobilize their base to come to this weekend and resist with us to create a National Unified Force against Police Brutality in the US and beyond.
Event Volunteers to donate their time and energy towards organizing spaces that will educate and influence thousands to take the spirit of resistance back to their own communities.
Spiritual Healers to replenish the minds and the souls of the us who are on the front lines everyday. Be it through activism or living with the trauma of losing a loved one at the hands of law enforcement, we all need some healing.
Criminal and Civil Lawyers to use their skills sets in powerful and transformational ways that will begin to hold these police officers, departments and unions accountable to the people that employ them to protect and serve.
