Math is changing in SFUSD, and families have a key role to play. This three-part series invites us to learn, reflect, and plan together as we navigate the district’s new math curriculum. In the first session, we will focus on understanding the big picture: why the district made this shift, what the curriculum is, and what it aims to accomplish. In the second, we will dive deeper into how the curriculum works in practice, including what we should know about grade-level standards and content for our children. In the final session, we will look ahead and plan how to help our children finish the year strong and step into the next grade ready to grow. Across all three sessions, we will gain practical tools, deepen our understanding of the new math curriculum, and connect with other families as we support our young mathematicians.

Las matemáticas están cambiando en SFUSD, y las familias tienen un papel clave que desempeñar.
Esta serie de tres partes nos invita a aprender, reflexionar y planificar juntos mientras navegamos por el nuevo plan de estudios de matemáticas del distrito.

En la primera sesión, nos enfocaremos en comprender la visión general: por qué el distrito hizo este cambio, qué es el plan de estudios y qué pretende lograr.
En la segunda sesión, profundizaremos en cómo funciona el plan de estudios en la práctica, incluyendo lo que debemos saber sobre los estándares de nivel de grado y el contenido para nuestros hijos.
En la sesión final, miraremos hacia adelante y planificaremos cómo ayudar a nuestros hijos a terminar el año con éxito y avanzar al siguiente grado preparados para crecer.

A lo largo de las tres sesiones, obtendremos herramientas prácticas, profundizaremos en nuestra comprensión del nuevo plan de estudios de matemáticas y nos conectaremos con otras familias mientras apoyamos a nuestros jóvenes matemáticos.

數學正在 SFUSD 發生變化，家庭在當中扮演重要角色。
這個三部分系列邀請大家一齊學習、反思同計劃，一齊適應學區嘅新數學課程。

喺第一堂，我哋會專注於了解大方向：點解學區要作出呢個改變，課程係乜嘢，仲有佢嘅目標係乜。
喺第二堂，我哋會更深入咁睇課程實際上點運作，包括我哋應該了解嘅年級標準同小朋友需要學嘅內容。
喺最後一堂，我哋會展望未來，計劃點樣幫助小朋友成功完成今個學年，並且準備好迎接下一個年級。

三堂課之中，我哋會獲得實用工具，更深入理解新數學課程，並且同其他家庭建立聯繫，一齊支持我哋嘅小小數學家。
