As part of Coastal Cleanup Month 2024, the Northcoast Environmental Center (NEC) will be hosting a coastal cleanup event on September 7th starting at the NEC office in Arcata. We’ll collect trash along the streets in the surrounding neighborhood and along the bike bath intersecting Samoa boulevard. Cleanup supplies will be provided, but please bring water, sun protection and wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Join with friends and family to help keep waste out of our waterways!
